Ness Ziona is a city in the southern part of the Gush Dan, between Rishon-le-Zion and Rehovot.
Ness Ziona was founded in 1883, during the First Aliyah.
In the 1950s, repatriates from Europe, North Africa and Iraq settled here.
The status of the city of Ness Ziona was received in 1992.
